BSNL Recruits 3945 Junior Telecom Officer

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is recruiting 3945 Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) through Competitive Exam to be conducted in various centres on 21st June 2009 (Sunday).

• JTO (Telecom) : SC-459. ST-239, OBC-989, General-1858 Total - 3545 Vacancies
• JTO (Civil) : SC-23, ST-16, OBC-69, General-92 Total - 200 Vacancies
• JTO ( Electrical): SC-15, ST-30, OBC-55, General-100 Total - 200 Vacancies

Qualification: ( As on 31.12.2009)

• JTO (Telecom) - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in the following disciplines. Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology.

• JTO (Civil) - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from recognised University.

• JTO ( Electrical) - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from recognised University.

Candidates appearing for the final exam and who possess the qualification as on 31.12.2009 can also apply for the vacancies.

Application fee: An examination fee of Rs.750/- is payable in the form of demand draft favouring "Senior Accounts Officer/ Accounts Officer" payable at the respective state headquarters as mentioned in the Instructions page. No Application fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates.

Selection Procedure: All India Competitive exam will be conducted on 21.06.2009 consisting of three hours duration. The questions will be of objective type from Engineering stream - 100 questions and from General Awareness - 20 questions.

Last Date: 06.04.2009 is the last date of receipt of Application in all respect.
