RBI Recruits legal Officer & Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha)

Reserve Bank of India invites applications from Indian Citizens and certain other categories of persons for appointment to the posts mentioned below.

The details are as follows:

1. Legal Officers in Grade "B" (Direct Recruits DR) Vacancy - 07 Posts.
Reservations: UR-5, SC-1,ST-1,OBC-NIL.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law with 60% Marks or Equivalend degree in Masters degree of Law. Proficiency in Computer is desirable.
Age: Not Exceeding 32 years as on 01.01.2009.
Experience: Two years experience as Advocate or Lawyer in the Legal department of a company.
Pay Scale: Rs.13,700 - 24,400

2. Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade "A": Vacancy - 20 Nos.
Reservations: UR-10, SC-3,ST-1, OBC-6
Educational Qualification:

i) Second Class Master's Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor's Degree level OR
ii) Second Class Master's Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor's Degree level OR
iii) Second Class Master's Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor's Degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor's Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree) OR
iv) Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class.


Age: Not above 30 years as on 01.01.2009.
Experience: Atleast 3 year experience in translating English to Hindi.
Pay scale: Rs.11,250 - 22,500

How to Apply: Applications in the prescribed format duly completed in all respects to be sent to 'the General Manager, reserve Bank of India services Board, Opp. Mumbai Central Railway Station, Byculla, Mumbai 400 008 by Ordinary Post latest by 27.02.2009.

Application Fee: Rs.100 (Exempted for SC/ST/PWD) payable by DD in favour of "Reserve Bank of India" payable at Mumbai. Applicant should write their name in the back side of the DD.
