NTPC is looking for Energetic young Graduate Engineers and Professionals with Brilliant Academic record to join as Executive Trainees - 2009 Batch for the following Discipline:

1. Electrical : 160 Posts ( UR-88, OBC-44, SC-18, ST-10)
2. Mechanical : 220 Posts (UR-117,OBC-78, SC-21, ST-04)
3. Civil : 60 Posts (UR-20. OBC-37, SC-2,ST-1)
4. Control&Inst.: 90 Posts (UR-54,OBC-33,SC-2,ST-1)
5. HR : 30 Posts( UR-13,OBC-11,SC-5,ST-1)
6. Finance : 40 Posts (UR-17, OBC-11,SC-8,ST-4)

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university with not less thatn 65% marks. Final year students may also apply. For HR : Graduates with 2 years full time Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management / Social Work (with HR as main subject) / Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management / MBA/ with not less than 60% marks. For Finance : Graduate with CA / ICWA or 2 years full time MBA with finance as main subject with not less than 60% marks.

Selection Process : There will be a Selection Test on 12/04/2009. Short listed candidates will be called for GD and Personal Interview.

Upper Age Limit : Upper age limit for NTPC is 27 as on 01/01/2009.

Scale of Pay : in NTPC : Rs. 11225 - 4%-17250 in the training period of one year and then Rs.12000-4%-17500 as Engineer.
